After months of dedication and hard work the team at DIJL was richly rewarded with FSSC 22000:2011 certification. The FSSC 22000 standard was developed for the certification of food safety systems of organizations in the food chain that process or manufacture animal products, perishable vegetable based products, products with a long shelf life, (other) food ingredients like additives, vitamins, bio-cultures and food packaging material manufacturing.
The certification meets the need of food manufacturers for a generally accepted food safety certificate that meets with the requirements of the subsequent customers in the chain and may incorporate the requirements of the different certification schemes of the retail organizations.
The increasing incidence of food safety issues across the globe in recent times as tested consumers confidence in the food supply chain. Our customers are key to our success as a company and a food manufacturer. Their needs led DIJL to seek and acquire a certification to reassures the consumer of the safety of our supply chain, from the raw material we put into our process to the processing these material undergo to the final product.
